LAUREN STEAD
DIRECTOR

Lauren is a Program Manager at Nature NB with over a decade of experience working in the conservation field across academia, non-profit, and government sectors. She holds a Master’s degree in Forest Ecology from the University of New Brunswick. Originally from Saint John, Lauren now calls Fredericton home and loves being surrounded by the natural beauty of the province.

Her conservation work spans projects across New Brunswick, including helping the province achieve its 10% protected area target. Lauren had the pleasure of working with the Nature Trust of New Brunswick in 2019 as part of the Stewardship Department and is thrilled to rejoin the NTNB team—this time as a member of the Board of Directors.

When she’s not diving into conservation projects or volunteering, she's outside—hiking a trail, paddling the Wolastoq River, hitting the slopes, or happily tending her the garden.
