TONY HENDERSON
DIRECTOR

Anthony "Tony" Henderson was born in Pakistan to two Canadian parents, which sparked his lifelong passion for cultural diversity. His upbringing and extensive travels have taken him to places like Ceylon, Somalia, Europe, China, South America, North America, Antarctica, Australia, New Zealand, and Russia. Through these experiences, he developed a deep appreciation for the richness of global cultures.

Tony's love for the outdoors was cultivated through hunting, fishing, and camping, where he gained firsthand knowledge of wildlife and the natural world. This passion for the outdoors led him to start and grow Safety Source Ltd., a leading company in Atlantic Canada specializing in fire safety, fall protection, and respiratory protection. His expertise in First Aid, AEDs, self-contained breathing apparatuses, marketing, and sales contributed to the company's success.

Since retiring in 2009, Tony has dedicated his time to mentoring business immigrants through the Business Immigrant Mentor Program. His commitment to giving back extends to his extensive volunteer work with organizations such as Ducks Unlimited, the Ruffed Grouse Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. Tony has also served as a director of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, as a board member of the New Brunswick Wildlife Trust Fund, and as a member and supporter of various local and national groups including the Fredericton Fish and Game, Sunpoke Retriever Club, Delta Waterfowl, Miramichi Salmon Association, Canadian Wild Turkey Federation, and New Brunswick Professional Outfitter Guide Association.

A landowner dedicated to wildlife management, Tony continues to actively care for and protect the environment, ensuring that future generations can enjoy the same natural beauty he has cherished throughout his life.
