The Great Fundy Coastal Cleanup is about coming together to protect our coastal ecosystems and the wildlife that call these shorelines home. This year, we are excited to invite you to take part in a number of cleanups along the Bay of Fundy. Led by Nature Trust staff and expert volunteers, you’ll have the opportunity to visit some of New Brunswick’s most beautiful and remote natural spaces, while doing your part for coastal wildlife.
What to Bring:
Closed toes shoes or rainboots
Appropriate clothing for weather
Water
Lunch and snacks
Sunscreen
Bug spray and/or bug net
Work gloves (optional)
Camera (optional)
Personal Flotation Device (only mandatory at some sites)
Lead your own cleanup:
Like last year, if you can’t make it to a Nature Trust event or even to the coast - don’t fret! We are encouraging volunteers to gather friends and family to clean up a shoreline, beach, park, trail, forest in your own neighbourhood, because everything leads back to the ocean. Learn how to lead your own cleanup below!
